Living At A Higher Frequency is a sonic kaleidoscope of electronic sounds rich in melody and rhythm that were created with analog and digital synthesizers, computer generated grooves and live drum tracks. The music follows a timeline that progresses as a journey, moving through an often strange and beautiful tonal landscape full of undiscovered places, soft oasis, mediative spaces and vast stellar time.
Disc 1 begins with a selection of ambient tracks (1-5) that spiral together with the openness of deep space, the textures of earth bound and a slow pulse of magnetic rhythms. In Tracks 6-11 the music changes gear with a sense of acceleration. Driving digital synthesizer sequences punctuated by electronic grooves are balanced by the warm glide of analog melody. This is music for the mind to dance to.
Disc 2 has a different feeling to it. Tracks 1-5 are works of quiet beauty where deep melody and electronics combine to form an aural tapestry resonant in sonic shades of soft darkness and crystal light.
